We continuously train our people, and you will learn something new on the job every day. For roles that require welding qualifications, you can complete the qualification test at our factory in Raahe.
The work is shift-based, and we expect our employees to be willing to travel, as most of our work is carried out on site at the customer’s premises.
Machinist
Role:
Machining industrial components using manual machine tools.
We value:
Previous experience in manual machining.
Welder
Role:
Flux-cored arc welding, TIG welding, plasma welding, and submerged arc welding.
Requirements:
Welder qualification test. Vocational training in the metal industry or equivalent metalworking skills gained through practical work experience.
Thermal sprayer
Role:
Thermal spraying using arc, plasma, wire, powder, and HVOF spraying equipment.

Supervisor: practical expertise and big-picture thinking
The work of a supervisor combines technical expertise, practical know-how, and people management. A typical day often begins by bringing together customer needs, schedules, machinery, and people into a working whole. When needed, a supervisor is also ready to step in and help solve practical challenges on the workshop floor. In workshop and customer environments, every job teaches something new: components, schedules, and solutions vary, so the work is never the same. A good supervisor understands the realities of production, knows how to anticipate, and makes sure that the work is carried out safely and to a high standard.

Thermal sprayer and NDT inspector: hands-on work, precision, and versatile skills
The work of thermal sprayers and NDT inspectors combines hands-on craftsmanship with precise quality assurance. Thermal spraying is a visually impressive process: molten metal is applied to the surface of a component using an electric arc and compressed air. The work is physical, but also rewarding, because the result is tangible.
An NDT inspector focuses on examining and verifying quality. Inspections are used to detect possible cracks and defects in welded, coated, or machined surfaces. The work requires care, concentration, and a strong sense of responsibility, as quality and safety are critical.

Welder and IWS welding coordinator: travelling site work and practical problem-solving
The work of a welder and IWS welding coordinator can take you to many different sites in Finland and abroad. Working days are built around the customer’s site: something needs to be repaired or brought under control, and the solution has to be found on site. Problem-solving and variety are what make the work interesting.
In travelling site work, professional skill is only part of the job. Planning, patience, and the ability to work with different people are just as important. At international sites, everything you need may not be available locally, so good preparation matters. The work is often carried out in international teams.
IWS training gives welders more responsibility and new opportunities. A career can develop from hands-on welding into more demanding supervision, advisory, and coordination roles. Personal motivation and a willingness to learn can open up new directions in your career.

On-site machinist: creativity, travel, and technical problem-solving
An on-site machinist works at the customer’s site, for example in a production plant or power plant. The tasks, conditions, and solutions are constantly changing.
The role suits someone who enjoys travelling, hands-on work, and coming up with new solutions. Assignments often involve equipment selected and prepared specifically for that site. Sometimes the machines, tools, and working methods have to be adapted to the situation, so the work calls for creativity, technical understanding, and the confidence to take on challenges.
