In this Privacy Notice, we describe, among other things, for what purposes and what personal data we collect and process, and what rights and opportunities you have to influence the processing of your data. Personal data we process
If you are our customer or partner, or a representative of either, we process the following data about you:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Employer company/organisation
- Position in the company or organisation/job role
- Communication with you and method of contact
Purpose and legal basis of processing
We process your personal data to maintain and manage the customer relationship of the company you represent.
We process personal data based on a contractual relationship or preparations for entering into a contract. The processing of personal data for marketing purposes is based on your consent.
We do not use the data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Where do we obtain your personal data?
We collect personal data from the data subject, the company you represent, websites, other public sources, or a commercial operator that provides information about companies and their representatives.
Disclosure of personal data
We do not disclose your personal data to external parties, except where required by Finnish law or the authorities.
We may disclose data in the register to subcontractors to fulfill service agreements. We disclose your personal data to companies in the same group for the same purposes.
The following service providers also process personal data on behalf of the data controller:

In addition, we reserve the right to transfer personal data in connection with a partial or complete sale or transfer of business operations or assets, including company restructuring, termination of operations, or bankruptcy.

We do not transfer your data outside the EU / EEA.
How long do we retain your personal data?
We retain personal data as long as necessary to process it or comply with our statutory obligations. We regularly assess the need to retain the data and delete it when it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which we collected it.

Right of access
You have the right to obtain confirmation from us as to whether we process personal data concerning you. You also have the right to access the personal data concerning you and to receive the information concerning the processing of your personal data as set out in the General Data Protection Regulation.
When you exercise your right of access, we will provide you with a copy of the personal data we process about you. If you request several copies, we may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs.
Right to rectification
You have the right to request that we rectify inaccurate data without undue delay. You also have the right to have incomplete personal data completed by providing us with supplementary information.
Right to erasure
You have the right to have us erase personal data concerning you without undue delay if:
- your personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed;
- you withdraw the consent on which the processing was based, and there is no other legal basis for processing the data in question;
- you object to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation, and there are no compelling legitimate grounds for the processing, or you object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes;
- we have processed personal data unlawfully; or
- the personal data must be erased to comply with a statutory obligation applicable to us.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to have us restrict the processing of your personal data so that, apart from storage, your personal data may only be processed with your consent, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or for the protection of the rights of another person, if:
- you contest the accuracy of your personal data, in which case we will restrict processing for the period required to verify the accuracy of the data;
- we process your personal data unlawfully, and you oppose the erasure of the personal data and request the restriction of its use instead;
- we no longer need your personal data for processing, but you need it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims; or
- you have objected to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to your particular situation. You are awaiting verification of whether our legitimate grounds override your objection.
Right to data portability
You have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and the right to transmit that data to another controller, if:
- we carry out the processing by automated means; and
- the processing is based either on your consent or is necessary for the performance of a contract between us, or for taking steps before entering into a contract at your request.
The right to data portability is limited to procedures that do not adversely affect others’ rights or freedoms.
Right to object to the processing of personal data
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data carried out based on our legitimate interest on grounds relating to your particular situation.
Right to withdraw consent
You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out based on your consent before its withdrawal.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman if you consider that the processing of personal data has infringed your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. In Finland, the supervisory authority is the Data Protection Ombudsman: www.tietosuoja.fi.
How do we ensure information security when processing your personal data?
We protect your personal data with due attention to information security. We protect access to systems containing your personal data with user-specific usernames, passwords, and access rights. We use multi-factor authentication on our computers, and our systems are protected by antivirus software and a firewall.
We keep materials we maintain manually in premises where unauthorized access is prevented.
We ensure that personal data is processed confidentially and only by employees whose job duties require it.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time if our data protection practices or legal requirements change.
